Contest Overview
If you’ve already subscribed to Jeven Dovey’s YouTube channel, you’ve likely seen his new “What’s in my 500k Camera Bag” video. In this video, Jeven shows you the gear that got him to 500k subscribers on YouTube.
Now, Kit and Jeven Dovey are inviting you to show us your video creation Kit. We want to see the gear you use or dream of using to create videos.
Entry Period & How to Enter
The contest begins at 12 pm PST on Thursday, May 21st, 2020, and ends at 12 pm PST on Thursday, June 18th, 2020.
1. Go to Kit.co and make an account/or sign in.
2. Create a complete Gear Bag Kit at any price point. It should contain all of your video creation essentials. To see an example, you can check out Jeven Dovey’s YouTube Gear List Kit.
3. Make sure to use the hashtag #500kcamerakit in the description field of your Kit. If you do not use the #500kcamerakit hashtag, you will not be entered into the contest.

The Judging and Selection Process
Jeven and Team Kit will select 10 finalists’ Kits based upon the following criteria.
- Quality of descriptions of Kit and items in the Kit
- Creativity
- How realistic the Kit is for the purpose of the Kit
- How well the Kit works for its niche
- How well the entrant tells the story of their Kit and what the Kit is for
Extra points can be earned by creating a video for your Kit, if you put your video in the description of your Kit we’ll be sure to watch it!
Your Kit doesn’t have to fit in a backpack and doesn’t have to fall within a specific price range. We’re looking for the best Kits for someone looking to get everything they need to make a quality video. If your Kit does that, then you’re on the right track!
On June 25th at 12 pm PST Jeven will post a live stream on his YouTube channel that reviews the 10 finalists’ Kits. At the end of the video, he’ll announce the three winners.
Additionally, the three winners will be contacted via the email they use with their Kit account.
